Currently implementing Microsoft Lync for the entire corporation. This is replacing our various PBXes. This includes maintaining our Enterprise Edition Lync pool, implementing SBA’s at remote offices, and building a Disaster Recovery solution for Lync. I am working on a project to upgrade our Microsft ISA firewalls to clustered Microsoft TMG servers. I implemented and support our corporate password security server. Additional responsibilities include supporting Systems Center Operations Manager, office moves, supporting our Active Directory infrastructure, and working on internal security audits.

Previously, I was responsible for high-availability Internet presence for financial services firms. Architected secure eCommerce environment. Redesigned internal network to remove unnecessary routes, routers, and networks. Implemented high availability Internet presence by installing and managing RadWare Linkproof
load balancers and F5 BigIP load balancers. 
Design was audited quarterly for security by 3rd party auditors. Redesigned both internal and external DNS.

 IT Security Manager

July 2001 – May 2002

Duke Realty Corporation | Indianapolis, IN

Responsible for all Information Technology security matters. Designed and implemented the security structure of Active Directory rollout, wrote IT security policy manual and implemented policies. Also responsible for Internet presence, including firewalls, load balancing web servers, DNS, content filtering, and network caching.

Engineering and Infrastructure Manager

Responsible for all servers and infrastructure in corporation as well as testing and
reviewing new technologies.
Also responsible for 5 server Exchange environment and Internet presence. Designed robust network architecture which allowed us to add 7 new locations to WAN with no disruption to network or routing. Responsible for design and move of corporate server room to new building, responsible for design of voice/data infrastructure in new headquarters. Responsible for network metrics, network hardware upgrades, and backups of servers. Travelled to remote offices as necessary to troubleshoot, perform upgrades, or move offices. Managed three member team who helped implement and maintain core network services. Implemented and maintained OSPF-based network infrastructure.

Responsible for corporate desktop and server environment. Solved end user problems, performed PC and server upgrades. Travelled to remote offices to troubleshoot or perform upgrades. Managed 12 Administrators who were located in seven different cities in the Midwest and Southeast. Responsible for budgeting all end user hardware, printers, servers, and server software. Responsible for managing corporate web server. Managed corporate-wide projects such as new product rollouts.
